Hey, I’m Lara! Your wedding and elopement photographer living on the beautiful west coast in Victoria, BC!

For over 7 years, I’ve had the absolute joy of capturing love stories in the wild, beautiful corners of Vancouver Island and beyond. Whether it’s a cliffside elopement at golden hour or a cozy backyard ceremony full of laughter, I’m there—quietly documenting every heartfelt glance and spontaneous moment.

My photography style is documentary and cinematic. That means real emotions, real stories, and images that feel like stills from your favorite movie. I’m not here to overly pose you or make your day feel like a photoshoot. I’m here to freeze memories, those little in-between moments you’ll look back on years from now and feel all over again.

I believe your wedding should feel like you. Whether you're hiking to your ceremony spot in boots or dancing barefoot under string lights, I'm here to capture it just as it unfolds. Honest, emotional, and unforgettable.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me exploring the island with a coffee in hand, scouting dreamy locations, catching a live show, or planning my next travel adventure. I love music, new places, and anything that sparks creativity and connection.

Nothing like a west coast wedding to bring the vibes. Ocean backdrop, a great lineup of friends and family, and two people who nailed the whole “meant to be” thing Congratulations to the gorgeous couple, thank you for letting me and my Instagram said ‘post vertical.’ I said ‘watch her dance.’ Just her, the light, and the way he looked at her like nothing else existed. Some moments need all the space they can get. Lee and Julia, a long-time friend and his perfect match, got married under the trees in a ceremony full of love. The way they look at each other — with so much tenderness and joy — was a beautiful thing to witness. Their wedding was a per Rooftop sunsets and soft moments in downtown Victoria. These two get married in August, and I can’t wait to capture it all! They said ‘I do,’ I said ‘I’m obsessed,’ and everyone clapped. This day was full of love, light, laughter, and the exact kind of chaos I live for (the organized kind, with a timeline and snacks 😋) I shot this in 2024, Some love stories feel like they were written by the ocean — wild, steady, and a little windswept 🌊 These two made the whole coastline feel like a love letter ✨ Can’t wait to capture their wedding this June Accidentally ghosted Instagram but came back with a banger — first elopement of my 2025 season and it was straight-up magic by the sea here in Victoria 🌊💍 Just sent off their sneak peeks and I’m obsessed 📸✨ #ElopementPhotographer #Vic
